  • Contributed to the design and verification of Broadband Triple Play solutions to provide Broadcast TV, Video on Demand, Voice over IP and High Speed Internet Access to residential users

  • Participate in the development testing of SONET based Resilient PacketRing (RPR), IEEE 802.17  and Dynamic Packet Transfer (DPT) based products including Cisco10720 and 12000 series routers
  • Developed automation test suites for Datapath Regression on Cisco 10720 routers to significantly improve test duration and decrease manual interaction allowing more efficient distribution of resources
  • Major duties as a dev-test engineer includes:
    • Setting up test strategy, design test scenarios and document test plan to thoroughly test all supported IOS features.
    • Setting up testbed and executing test plans to fully test all supported features and documenting results for a given product.
    • Document any bugs found, work in close connection with developers to resolve the bug, test the fix and document the updated results.
    • Documenting the test strategy and prepare test cases for automated regression testing.
    • Writing scripts, using TCL, to automate test cases as described in the Automation Testplan for that feature.
    • Also responsible for maintenance of Business Unit’s website. The website was used as a tool for posting latest test plans, test progress, test results and other information for on-going projects.
